Celebrate Mexican Independence Day Early with ALMA+GIL!

Mexican Independence Day lands on September 15th, but since we know midweek dinners are tough to schedule, we’re kicking off the celebration early on Saturday, September 12th!

If you’ve missed our evening service, this is your chance to gather at the shop for a one-night-only feast. We’re pairing an all-you-can-eat tamal bar with a exclusive taco menu featuring sneaky first-look dishes from our upcoming project.

The Craft Behind the Plate

Every single tortilla and tamal starts right here in-house. We nixtamalize heirloom corn, grind it through our volcanic stone molino, and press each tortilla to order on the line.

What to Expect:

 * Endless Tamales ($25): Choose between traditional rajas (vegetarian) and chicken in salsa verde house-made tamales.

 * Specialty Taco Menu ($5-$10): Fresh features pressed on demand with fresh masa.

 * Live Music & Drinks: Good tunes, beverages, and great neighbourhood energy.

 * Family Friendly: Kids are welcome! (we have two kids chairs! let us know or plan accordingly)
