ALMA + GIL (pronounced "Hill") kombucha company was founded by Gerry and Mandy. Originally chefs who have worked in Toronto restaurants like Yours Truly, El Caballito, Linda Modern Thai, Momofuku Noodle Bar and Rosalinda. ALMA + GIL is a passion project finally coming to fruition. Named after Gerry's grandparents Alma and Gilberto who Gerry has long looked up to, our two base flavours are respectively named ALMA and GIL.

Every decision is driven by our main mission, which is to provide the highest quality product to our customers. Throughout the pandemic we have evolved from a kombucha brewery, to produce delivery, to brunch cafe service, frozen tamales, and personalized catering.
