Summer 2019 Recap!
Hello! This was our first summer at ALMA+GIL kombucha, and we were grateful to be busy bees.
We shared a booth with chef Elia Herrera and chef Romain Avril, where they served their award winning French and Mexican inspired mac & cheese (won for creativity!) . We complimented their quesadilla with our GIL El Jimador tequila margarita. Three days of kombucha and sun!
THE STOP'S NIGHT MARKET
Gerry and I had previously participated in The Stop's Night Market with restaurants (Gerry with Torito, Mandy with A-OK Foods). This year we wanted to contribute as our kombucha company, and served SANDRA and our GILgaritas! The Stop raised an incredible $340,000, great food, drinks and happy attendees!
FEM POP COLLECTIVE
UNGAVA @ STACKT
Ungava Gin held a multi-weekend pop-up at Stackt Market, kindly invited for a collaborate kombucha cocktail, thanks Natalie! It was a great spot to enjoy the sun and sip gin cocktails, especially the Kombucha+Gin (made with ALMA)!
SECOND HARVEST TRUCK PULL
Salad King has a close partnership with Second Harvest and was sponsoring the Truck Pull Challenge this year. They invited us along to serve up SANDRA (also on their menu!) and pull a truck for a good cause. Below you can see Alan (the owner of SK), Gerry and other SK staff during one of their many pulls! Best time = free meal!
